Video integration and multi-channel audio playback have replaced the traditional stereo hi-fi system with the "Home Theater". Most of the time, however, this is quite misleading.

What we actually want to accomplish is to create a dual-purpose system that is equally well suited at recreating both the Music AND Cinema experiences. We feel that this much more accurately describes the system’s goals.

Simply because we have incorporated movies, sports and TV programming, it hasn’t changed the need for an honest, high quality execution of stereo or multi-channel music hardware.

At Woodbridge Stereo/Video we design Music and Cinema systems just as the name implies. We start with the goal of high quality music playback. In reality, the tasks of the realistic recreation of music and of movie

soundtracks are exactly the same! Imaging, soundstaging, smooth and extended response, dynamic range and shadings, low distortion; are all equally fundamental criteria in both venues.

A system that does well on music will always perform well with cinema programs. The reverse, however, is seldom the case.
